Hooray for Solo and Ensemble!
How did everyone do? What pieces is everyone doing?
Who's in District I this year?
My solo and br*** quintet both made state this year. ^_^
I scored a 12.5 on my solo... messed up a lot, but I didn't have my accompanist. Someone got a video of it too. If anyone has a camera with a video feature on it, you should definitely video someone's solo and share it. ;)

i got gold!!!!! it is useless putting this about 2 months later but i guess better late than never...i got gold by .5 points!! (i messed up on the dynamics) but whatever i got gold!
solo and ensemble is awesome

Yeah.... If you have an a, followed by two s's anywhere it will censor it even if it is within a word... And that doesn't work out to well when many words have that :/ Well, this year's solo for me is going to be extremely hard.... Wish me luck lol....

What the heck....i don't get the starring of the post.....i said b***...pronounced (Base)...doesn't make sense......they should read the word and if the word is bad star it not what is in the word.....

........i'm kinda nervous myself....being a b*** clarinetist is cool....but fischer said he considers me b*** clarinet player so i can play it at solo.....PPHHHHEEEEEWWWWW.....i suck at my clarinet now that i play the b***

Then they better have a heck of an understanding on how everything trumpet related is supposed to work, and sound, including every single criteria in which they are judging...

i dont think that they actually played trumpet either, in fact they dont neccesarally have to have played that instrument to judge you.
The quickest way to a man's heart is with Chuck Norris' fist. In fine print on the last page of the Guinness Book of World Records it notes that all world records are held by Chuck Norris, and those listed in the book are simply the closest anyone else has ever gotten. |

Hey, you have to be a real pro at something to judge it. I don't think they had a percussionist grading my solo at state... but idk.

I barely got it too! Too bad I don't have a video so I myself can see exactly how I did. :( Couldn't have done it without private lessons starting again, yay Mr. Fischer!
